Resource adequacy methodology and electric modeling for the 2027 ISP 5/15/25 | 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. Puget Sound Energy hosted a virtual RPAG meeting on Thursday, May 15 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. PSE discussed electric modeling for the 2027 Integrated System Plan (ISP), which includes updates on emerging resources, hydroelectric, and geothermal modeling as well as resource alternatives, alternative fuels, and generic resource costs. PSE is accepting applications for up to four new members for our Resource Planning Advisory Group (RPAG). The application is available now and we are accepting applications through Jan. 8, 2025. Please see the RPAG Charter for additional information on the RPAG purpose and membership. What is the Resource Planning Advisory Group? The Resource Planning Advisory Group or RPAG provides specialized technical feedback in support of PSE’s resource planning processes, with a primary focus on advising the development of the 2027 Integrated System Plan (ISP). RPAG Selection Puget Sound Energy will select up to four new RPAG members, in consultation with independent advisors, through a public application process. We encourage all applicants that meet the requirements below to apply as we seek to expand the RPAG with the best possible mix of experience and expertise. • Applicants must possess relevant education, expertise and/or professional experience in key fields relevant to energy resource planning or utility regulation. • Applicants must possess an organizational affiliation and approval to participate in the RPAG on the organization’s behalf. • Applicants will be expected to attend meetings during the 2027 ISP cycle leading to filing of the 2027 ISP. On July 11, 2024 the Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission approved PSE’s request to consolidate our Integrated Resource Plan (IRP) and Clean Energy Implementation Plan (CEIP) into a single Integrated System Plan (ISP) due on Jan. 1, 2027. PSE is rapidly shifting focus toward the new ISP and will provide additional details soon. Additional information can be found under Commission Dockets 240433 and 240434 .
