Equity Advisory Group Interest Form

PSE is committed to accommodating EAG applicants who may require additional support for full participation. For questions or help completing this application, please contact us for assistance via email at Ray.Outlaw@pse.com or call 360-481-9483.

What is it?

PSE’s Equity Advisory Group (EAG) is a community stakeholder group of up to 17 members who advise PSE on equity matters related to PSE’s transition to 100% clean electricity.

What does it do?

The EAG advises PSE on embedding equity into clean electricity planning and implementation, as well as other equity-related issues. EAG members provide advice and discuss the following to help PSE deliver a just and equitable clean energy future and meet the objectives of Washington’s Clean Energy Transformation Act:

  • Approaches, metrics and programs that help accelerate equity, so clean energy is accessible, affordable and accountable
  • Community barriers and burdens to address and opportunities for equity.
  • Perspectives from and broaden engagement with communities we serve, including frontline communities (e.g., low-income people, and Black, Indigenous, and People of Color).

What are the EAG’s expected activities?

EAG members meet approximately 8-10 times per year.

How will PSE make EAG meetings accessible?

PSE offers stipends for EAG members and can arrange for language interpretation for EAG members as needed. Currently, EAG meetings are planned to be virtual and/or to have a virtual option. PSE can assist EAG members with limited internet access to participate in virtual meetings.

What are the benefits of participating on the EAG?

  • Be a meaningful voice in shaping PSE’s planning for clean energy transformation and accelerating equity.
  • Help improve access to affordable clean energy options.
  • Connect with other community leaders working on advancing equity issues in the clean energy space.
  • Learn more about clean energy and the clean energy economy.

While we are not currently looking for new EAG members, during recruitment periods PSE seeks to bring new voices into the energy planning process and encourages individuals and organizations not actively engaged in PSE’s other advisory groups to apply. We also encourage bilingual individuals to apply.
